GETTING SCHOOL LUNCHES TO KIDS' DOORSTEPS IS A WIN-WIN FOR COLUMBIA FAMILIES and CPS. LUNCH CLUBS MAKE IT HAPPEN.
Neighborhood lunch clubs are popping up all over Columbia so that kids of all socio-economic backgrounds can get nutritious food every day, taking the worry out of buying and fixing lunch for busy parents making their way through the pandemic. While school is online, front porch delivery has become a huge help during a difficult time.

HOW TO START A CLUB
First a neighborhood creates a private Facebook Group and invites their neighbors, with and without kids, to join.
Next, join and register that club at https://www.facebook.com/groups/382591899801146/
With your new Facebook group, recruit drivers for specific days, and create a list of homes that need lunches.
Last, identify your bus stop or school to pick up lunches, notify CPS daily with this form, and start DELIVERING! There's more info about what info CPS needs per child in the CoMO Lunch Clubs HQ group on Facebook. Ask for help, we will help get you going!
